Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AID class at the Y
The Waynesboro YMCA and the American Red Cross are teaming up to offer a course in lifeguard training, first aid, professional CPR and AID training in May.
This course gives lifeguard training candidates the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. You must be 15 years old by completion of class.
No classes can be missed.

Gala auction highlight: The ’66 Mustang convertible
Get a look at the car donated by Danny Ledford that we’ll be auctioning off next Friday, April 23rd, with 45 other items at the Waynesboro YMCA Spring Gala.
We’ll also have 90 silent auction items and a $5,000 grand prize.

Join us at the Spring Gala!
The Waynesboro YMCA is hosting its annual Spring Gala on Friday, April 23, at the Best Western in Waynesboro.
The Gala is sponsored by Frontier Community Bank, Bentley Commons, A Special Friend of the Y, Eight, and Danny/Jennifer Ledford.
The event start at 6 p.m. with a silent auction. The live auction will begin at 8:30ish and the reverse draw raffle of $5,000 at 10 p.m. – then we dance. Read more
