Basketball
The Waynesboro Family YMCA services about 2,500 youth per year. Not only do we offer many programs, we host swim meets, basketball tournaments, camps, Special Olympics, weight-lifting meets, and other worthy events. We also offer the use of our facility for special events and collaborations with other organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Boys and Girls Club.
YMCA GYM SCHEDULE
The YMCA Gym Schedule can change at any time. To find out when Open Gym time is for the day, call (540) 942-5107.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The success of our leagues depends on the adult volunteers in our community. Through the dedication and commitment of these volunteers, our youth are able to participate in a program that teaches them values, leadership skills, and fair play in a time when this is most needed. Individuals interested in coaching or volunteering their services to assist with this league should contact Coach Spears at 942-5107 or by email ybball@cfw.com
Positions include coaches, assistants, referees, timers and scorekeepers.
Any adults interested in coaching or assisting with AAU teams please contact John Spears at ybball@cfw.com. For more information, please contact the YMCA at 943-YMCA or 946-9832.
